Take Action to Stop the SPP Now! 

The so-called Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) is for "Deep Integration" between the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and for Accelerating NAFTA.  But it won't bring security or prosperity to average citizens from any of these countries.  

"Deep integration" is a term that refers the harmonization of policies and regulations that govern the foods we eat, the items we buy, and how we live.  It could affect everything - the economy, social programs, resources and the environment.  It calls for the formation of a new North America that effectively erases the border between Canada and the United States when it comes to trade north of the border and security concerns south of the border.  This is an agreement made without Congressional approval, made unilaterally between George W. Bush and the leaders of Canada and Mexico.
